Why Restaurants Choose 5 Mile Marketing
Trackable sales and representative activity
Flexible offers and campaign pricing
No large upfront advertising commitment
Every campaign is customized around the restaurant’s offer, target territory, timing, and sales goals. Before the campaign begins, we’ll review the recommended structure, responsibilities, and expected economics with the restaurant.
Technology and Tracking
Track Every Campaign from the First Door to the Final Sale
Our team records campaign activity throughout the sales period, including neighborhood coverage, completed sales, campaign revenue, and restaurant proceeds. Activity and payment information is summarized when restaurant funds are processed each week, followed by a final report at the completion of the campaign.
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers
-
Each restaurant selects its offer with guidance from the 5 Mile Marketing team. We’ll help you structure an offer that is attractive to nearby customers, supports your margins, and encourages repeat visits. Prepaid punch cards and similar multi-visit offers often work especially well.
-
Our sales representatives collect the customer’s payment through a secure payment portal at the time of sale. Each completed transaction is recorded, and the corresponding printed offer is marked as sold before it is provided to the customer.
-
Restaurant payments are processed weekly for completed sales from the prior week. The restaurant receives the net proceeds after the agreed-upon campaign fees or commissions, along with supporting sales information.
-
The restaurant provides unique printed campaign materials that its onsite team can easily recognize. When an offer is sold, the 5 Mile Marketing representative marks the printed card using the agreed-upon validation method. Restaurant employees can then confirm that the card was properly sold before accepting it for redemption.
-
Representatives receive manager-led training before participating in a campaign. Training covers the restaurant’s approved offer, campaign messaging, payment procedures, assigned territory, card-handling requirements, and expectations for professional customer interactions.
-
Yes. A restaurant may run multiple approved offers during the same campaign. Offering more than one option can help customers select the value or experience that is most appealing to them. We’ll work with you to keep the offers straightforward for customers, representatives, and restaurant employees.
-
Each campaign runs for a fixed period established before the campaign begins. The schedule is based on the restaurant’s goals, target territory, offer structure, and desired sales volume. Any extension or additional campaign would be discussed and approved separately.
-
Only cards associated with completed sales are marked as valid. Unsold cards remain unmarked and should not be accepted for redemption. At the end of the campaign, 5 Mile Marketing will coordinate with the restaurant regarding any remaining printed materials.
-
There is no large upfront marketing fee. The restaurant is responsible for producing the approved printed cards and any related campaign materials before sales begin. All other fees and commissions are handled according to the agreed-upon campaign terms.
-
Campaign activity is reported weekly when restaurant funds are processed. Each report will summarize the completed sales and related payment information for that period. Once the campaign is complete, the restaurant will also receive a final campaign summary showing the overall results.
